Sales Representative, Business Development

Route One Trailers, Sales and Rentals is a Dealership that is focused on innovation, reliability, and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. We strive for exceptional services. Currently, we are looking for the sales Representative to join our team in East Dundee, IL to engage new clients to our Dealership and boost sales.
Objective:
Sell new and used semi-trailer, tarping systems, cargo equipment and parts. Make calls, send emails, and visit customers.

General Requirements
- Experience in sales: 1-2 years minimum in heavy industry / 3 years minimum in direct sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with potential clients effectively.
- Persuasive and convincing abilities to influence decision-makers and overcome objections.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and follow-up activities.
- Resilience and persistence to handle rejection and maintain motivation.
- Knowledge of the products or services being offered and the ability to articulate their value.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools for tracking and managing leads.
- Advanced selling and sourcing new client skills.
- Bilingual is a must (ideally Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Spanish).
Physical Requirements:
- Considerable physical activity including continuous standing and walking of the shop floor for long durations.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or carry up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to climb, reach, bend, kneel, and stoop with no restrictions.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which required following standard safety protocols.
- Work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, cleaning products, chemicals, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Responsibilities:
- Sell 80-100 trailers/trucks per year,
- Sell Conestoga kits and other equipment.
- Scheduling meetings or appointments with interested prospects. Visit customers at their location.
- Presenting the benefits and value proposition of the products or services being offered.
- Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business.
- Write customer orders and sales contracts.
- Listen to and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products and services.
- Coordinate sales with other departments to work toward a common goal.
- Engaging in conversations with decision-makers to understand their needs and pain points.
- Help customers apply for credit.
- Customer merchandising and program implementation.
- Maintaining accurate records of interactions and outcomes in a CRM system.
