As an eCommerce Growth Consultant in the Electric Power Division, you will ensure our customers can acquire the right part at the right time. Through providing increased customer and dealer visibility to our online ordering platforms, you will help guarantee that, regardless of size, customers can meet their needs. You will work closely with internal partners and dealers to identify growth opportunities and support field team execution.
Responsibilities- Work with the EP eCommerce Program Manager to execute the developed eCommerce strategy.
- Develop eCommerce growth plans for targeted global dealers and collaborate with Electric Power sales execution teams to support dealer‑specific targets.
- Drive eCommerce customer activations and deploy support programs with targeted global dealers.
- Lead the prospecting of EP CAT Integrated Procurement (IP) customers and work with DSD & dealer partners to grow CAT IP connections.
- Serve as eCommerce SME / Level 3 support for ASRs and the Electric Power Digital Sales team.
- Train dealers and customers in eCommerce solutions, including , Cat Central, and CAT IP demos to facilitate increased adoption.
- Manage metrics, dashboards, and supporting management tools to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Four‑year degree in business, economics, finance or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Work‑knowledge of customer focus principles and ability to create customized customer solutions.
- Ability to communicate the importance of customer needs, research and verify those needs, solicit feedback, and act on improvement opportunities.
- Working knowledge of decision‑making processes and critical‑thinking tools.
- Effective communication skills including clear feedback, listening, oral presentations, and written reports.
- Relationship management skills with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Business‑development skills, including market identification and plan assessment.
- Value‑selling knowledge and ability to present product, technology, or service benefits.
- Previous experience with eCommerce platforms.
- Previous experience with Caterpillar eCommerce solutions.
- Previous experience in a field‑facing role.
- Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Position located in Peoria, IL or Dallas, TX.
- Work schedule:
5 days a week in the office. - Travel up to ~20% possible.
