Illinois Sales Representative

Be among the first 25 applicants to join Dinges Fire Company as a Salesperson, leveraging your experience as a firefighter or EMS personnel to drive sales and build lasting, helpful relationships with fire and EMT decision‑makers across the designated territory.

Plan and execute all sales activities for assigned accounts or areas, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality of product and service delivery. Build a ‘Help First’ relationship with departments to make their jobs easier, safer and more comfortable.

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies
• Schedule and conduct sales activities
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers
• Develop and deliver presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• Negotiate with clients and develop sales proposals
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns via phone, electronically or in person
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain good client relationships
• Follow up on sales activity and monitor performance
• Report on sales activities and provide management feedback
• Participate in sales events and training

• All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors. Pay is comprised entirely of commissions with unlimited potential—earn approximately 40% of the gross profit on each sale.
• DFC offers the opportunity to work full‑time using the sales position as a primary income source or part‑time earning a strong second income. While being a firefighter is not mandatory, it is highly recommended because it provides a great knowledge base for the products and services we offer.
• DFC representatives own the sales in their territory. By owning your territory, the value of your business grows as your sales increase—an awesome reward given the minimal investment required.
