Overview

Meat Cutter and Wrapper at Sam's Club. You will be part of the meat team, handling cutting, packaging, quality, and customer service to ensure a high-quality shopping experience for members.

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrate knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to standards; cut boneless meat; maintain product quality.
• Be a Techie:
  Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and boost engagement; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintain operational excellence; keep work area clean and compliant; ensure quality and date control for meat products; secure fragile/high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure packaging, labeling, and storage follow policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level; show energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards; apply Open Door Policy in daily work.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expected outcomes; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.
