Inpatient ICU Nurse Practitioner – Peoria, Illinois

A respected healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join its Inpatient Hospital ICU team in Peoria, Illinois.

Peoria, situated along the Illinois River in central Illinois, is a vibrant and affordable city known for its scenic riverfront, diverse dining and entertainment options, and surrounding suburban communities with top‑rated public schools.

• Join a collaborative team of 4 Critical Care Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Provide advanced clinical care for critically ill patients in the ICU alongside Pulmonology/Critical Care Physicians
• Perform ICU procedures with extensive training provided over several months
• Work within a 12‑bed CVICU and 12‑bed Medical/Surgical ICU
• Average 5 patients per shift
• Flexible scheduling including 8‑, 12‑, or 24‑hour shifts
• Includes a mix of weekday, night, evening, and weekend shifts
• Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus available

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, licensure, shift structure, and related factors. A comprehensive benefits package is offered to all team members and providers.

• Master’s degree in Nursing with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
• 1–3 years of Acute Care or Intensive Care experience as a provider or RN
