Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring Epic EMR experience and a valid IL RN license.
Responsibilities- 13-week contract at an inpatient medical/surgical unit
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
- Responsibilities include completing patient admissions assessments, developing and modifying individualized care plans, implementing nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and supports patient and staff safety
- Active IL RN license in good standing required; temporary license accepted
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- English proficiency required (speaking, reading, and writing)
