Overview

The Nurse Supervisor Seating accountability for daily operations and delivery of patient care through supervising, leading, and mentoring staff. Serves as a professional leader, role model and resource to department staff, and assists with personnel actions, staff development, evaluation and counseling/coaching.

Certifications:

Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR);
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA),

Work Experience:

• Assists in development and review of department policies, protocols, and competencies.
• Participates with Nurse Manager in development, planning, and monitoring of fiscal budget(s). Manages daily staffing needs and departmental activities, providing oversight to ensure high quality work with positive outcomes.
• Manages supplies, inventory and patient education materials in the department and ensures financial resources are used wisely.
• Evaluates, disciplines, coaches and mentors staff.
• Collaborates with physicians, Nurse Manager and staff to promote teamwork and efficiency within the department.
• Performs and is a resource for department testing and procedures.

The compensation range for this position is $41per hour - $70.52per hour. This represents a good faithcott, the maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will puesto dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
