• Facility Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Acute Cardiac Intermediate Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays

• Charting System: EPIC

• Active Illinois RN license (or proof of application in process)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• ACLS preferred; CCRN or PCCN certification a plus
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or Cardiac ICU nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and titration of multiple critical care drips
• Experience with ventilated and tracheostomy patients, Swan Ganz catheters, external pacemakers, PICC, CVC, and arterial lines
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Willingness to float to ICU and other stepdown units as needed

• Deliver direct patient care to adult cardiac stepdown and ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using Philips monitoring systems
• Titrate and manage a variety of cardiac and critical care drips (dopamine, dobutamine, levophed, etc.)
• Operate and manage specialty intervention equipment including Swan Ganz catheters, external pacemakers, and arterial lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Float to ICU and stepdown units as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, organization, and compassion in all aspects of patient care
