The Grant Administrator serves as a key liaison between the consulting firm Grant Staff Incand its nonprofit clients, managing the full lifecycle of grant development, from research andgrantproposal preparation to submission and reporting. This role requires strong writing and analytical skills, client management experience, and knowledge of funding research tools and grant databases.
The Administrator ensures that all submissions are strategically aligned, compliant, and professionally executed to secure funding for clients across diverse sectors.
As a Grant Administrator, you will:
- Research and identify relevant federal, state, corporate, and foundation funding opportunities using databases such as Grants.gov, Grant Station, and Foundation Directory Online.
- Prepare Level One (exploratory and initial submission) and Level Two (comprehensive, competitive, or multi-year) grant proposals.
- Ensure all submissions comply with eligibility requirements, deadlines, and reporting mandates.
- Track and manage submission schedules, outcomes, and renewal opportunities.
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients.
