CNC Machinist Team Lead - E. Peoria, Illinois - 3RD Shift

Our large manufacturing client located in Peoria, Illinois, is looking for a CNC Machinist Team Lead to add to their 3rd Shift team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide support to 3rd Shift Operation team, with daily production tasks. This role involves identifying and addressing issues that may arise during production, ensuring the team can respond effectively. This role is important for maintaining an efficient production environment, and it typically requires a combination of technical skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of CNC operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Strong machining background with 2+ years of experience as a machine operator is required

* Machining knowledge of turning, milling, grinding, and gear cutting.

* Ability to read blueprints and CMM lab reports is required

* Understanding of fixture, tooling and machining processes is critical

* Understanding of G code programming is required

* 2+ years of experience as Machine Operator
