Position: Quality Technician 2

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Quality Technician to join our team in East Peoria, IL! This is a second shift role. We offer full benefits, PTO, 401k, and more! As a Quality Technician, you will perform quality inspections on components and assemblies produced in East Peoria Undercarriage.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment that do not meet specified requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, technical data, manuals, and other documentation to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and required measuring instruments.
  • Inspect, test, and measure materials, products, installations, and workmanship to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Record inspection and test results, including quantities inspected or graded, in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Mark inspected items with appropriate identification, including grade and acceptance or rejection status.
  • Measure product dimensions to verify compliance with specifications using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Analyze test data and perform necessary calculations to determine accurate test results.
  • Inspect undercarriage parts during assembly operations and evaluate individual components for quality and compliance.
  • Inspect assembled products on the assembly line to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with the assembly team to identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Participate in RCCA and MRB meetings to support quality resolution and continuous improvement efforts.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or GED with 2-5 years’ experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Inspection experience
  • Use of simpler tools like calipers/ micrometers.
  • Microsoft office experience.

  • Blueprint reading.
