Overview
Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a CNC Machinist in Peoria, Illinois!
Responsibilities- Operating CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers.
- Performing set-ups, programming edits, and tooling & fixture changes.
- Using mathematics and precision instruments to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Monitoring operations, performing quality checks, and making adjustments.
The CNC Machinist is a first shift position, 7am – 4pm, Monday through Friday. Saturday overtime is possible. Pay will range from $25 - $28/hour based on experience. Positions are full-time and temp-to-hire.
Qualifications- HSD or GED
- 2+ years of CNC experience with vertical & horizontal lathes, mills, & machining centers
- Strong knowledge of tooling and fixturing
- Experience with G & M Codes
- Experience using micrometers and gauges as well as reading blueprints
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
