Senior Vice President, Lending

A well-established community bank in Central Illinois is seeking an experienced SVP of Lending to lead its lending division and drive continued growth. This key executive role will oversee a team of lenders, shape lending strategy, and ensure credit quality across mortgage, consumer, and indirect portfolios.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 7–8 lenders across local branches
• Develop and execute lending and credit strategies
• Oversee underwriting, policy, and collections
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align growth goals
• Represent the bank in the local community

What You Bring

• 7+ years in lending (mortgage, commercial, or consumer)
• 5+ years in leadership within community banking
• Strong credit, compliance, and relationship skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance (MLS required or must obtain)
• Local to Peoria or open to relocation
