AWS 12-hour shifts 6 am-6 pm

The Maintenance Technician Senior Lead oversees and coordinates maintenance activities within a facility. This senior-level position combines technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and systems. The Senior Lead will supervise a team of maintenance technicians, provide mentorship, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and manage maintenance schedules. This position requires advanced troubleshooting and repair skills, project management abilities, and the ability to lead and guide a team in meeting operational goals.

Heat Treat Experience Needed

• Leadership & Team Management:
  Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Advanced Technical Expertise:
  In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and lead repairs on complex equipment.
• Project Management:
  Ability to oversee maintenance projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Preventive Maintenance & Reliability:
  Strong understanding of preventive maintenance strategies and the ability to implement best practices to maximize equipment uptime.
• Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:
  Advanced troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or facility-related issues.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Expert knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and the ability to ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards.
• Communication & Documentation:
  Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document work, create reports, and coordinate with management, vendors, and other departments.

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, ensuring proper execution, and providing guidance as needed.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems and other critical facility equipment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Coordinate with management to ensure all maintenance activities align with production or operational schedules and priorities.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of maintenance technicians, providing coaching, feedback, and training as needed.
