Expected pay for this position is $29.36 - $34.55/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
This is an Hourly position.
This role is open to individuals who are already authorized to work indefinitely in the United States. Current and/or future sponsorship for work authorization is not available.
This position will require the incumbent to be in office Monday-Thursday at OSF Ministry Headquarters in Peoria, IL. The role requires that this incumbent attend any team or priority meetings in person which is usually scheduled on for these days.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Application Specialist II participates, plans, guides, and facilitates the implementation of simple to moderately complex projects. Under general supervision accountable for the day to day administration, maintenance and support of the unit supported application programs within the Business Unit. Works to solve business requirements and problems with available technology including hardware, software, and peripherals in a distributed network environment.
Participates in the development and implementation of information systems as required for the efficient operation of unit supported application programs. Assists in the technical review and evaluation in information systems projects, planning, and implementations or upgrades to current application programs. Responsible for timely resolution of complex end-user IT, phone, network and programming problems including the remote users. Provides support, management and maintenance for the technologies implemented.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
Associates Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Technical or other equivalency. - Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency in creation, use and maintenance of relational databases and complex spreadsheets is required. - One year of experience in system application.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Business Management
- Two years progressively more responsible work experience supporting, maintaining, and implementing information systems in a networked business environment.
- Has a conceptual understanding of voice and data network communications.
- Previous experience in healthcare desired.
