About the Role
IT360, Inc. is seeking a Cable Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on, client-facing role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our customers' cabling systems. You will work with various types of cables and technologies to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable network solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Run and secure network cables:
  Install and secure network cables in office spaces, shop floors, and network closets.
• Crimp RJ45 connectors:
  Crimp RJ45 connectors for Ethernet cables and test and verify end-to-end connectivity to ensure proper network function.
• Label cables:
  Properly label cables for easy identification and maintenance.
• Organize and route cables:
  Organize and route cables to minimize clutter and potential hazards, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.
• Maintain cable management systems:
  Implement and maintain cable management systems to support network infrastructure.

Additional Duties

• Ensure a high standard of work and customer service and customer satisfaction
• Work effectively on your own and in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues
• Accurately track time, tasks, and expenses in the ticketing system
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and certifications

Qualifications

• Experience in network cable installation and maintenance
• Proficiency in crimping RJ45 connectors and testing Ethernet cables.
• Strong communication, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail for accurate labeling and organization.
• Knowledge of safety protocols to minimize hazards.
• Understanding of network systems and infrastructure, including cable types and connectors.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
