Job Description:

Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Director of Environmental Services is responsible for overseeing management of the day-to-day operations for Environmental Service and Linen for all assigned properties. In conjunction with Environmental Services Administration, the Director implements standard cleaning practices, regulatory and accreditation compliance strategies, and ensures collaboration with and protocols to meet infection control standards within an assigned region.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of leadership experience
- High school diploma and 7 years of environmental services leadership experience in lieu of degree
Experience:
- 3 years leadership experience
- Experience with developing and managing performance and quality measurement and evaluation programs.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage programs for environmental services management, hazardous waste management, linen management, associated accreditation and regulatory compliance.
Experience:
Experience working in healthcare.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma or other similar performance improvement systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead work groups or project teams through the design, development and implementation of changes in organizational structure and work processes.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining approved schedules and good working relationship with OSF clients.
