Expected pay for this position is $99.42 - $131.73/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President (VP), Managed Care is responsible for establishing managed care strategic direction and overseeing the development, negotiation, implementation, and performance management of managed care contracts for OSFHS. The VP leads ministry-wide managed care contracting activities and supports OSFHS’s financial sustainability, access to care, and transition to value-based reimbursement models. The Vice President, Managed Care, manages relationships with managed care organizations, insurance companies, and third-party intermediaries, and collaborates with OSFHS executives, physicians, and leaders to develop provider networks, quality initiatives, and cost management strategies across OSFHS regions.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, finance or related field
Experience:
- Five (5) years of experience in managed care contracting or administration
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, financial analysis, and payor relationship management.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Strong knowledge of managed care contracting, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare finance.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across clinical, operational, and financial teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related analytical tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Masters' degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
Experience:
- Experience supporting value-based reimbursement models
