• Location: Peoria, IL 61605 (Central Illinois healthcare hub)
• Unit: Acute Rehabilitation Unit (29 beds)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/16/2026 – End: 5/18/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays (every other)
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs
• Charting System: EPIC (preferred experience)

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or willingness to obtain
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute rehab or neuro nursing experience
• Strong neuro nursing skills required
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotate holidays
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients with neuro, neurosurgery, amputations, multi-trauma, cardiac, and complex medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, OT, and Speech Therapy
• Participate in team conferences for acute inpatient rehabilitation
• Float to LTAC and med-surg units as needed (no floating to HAU unless trained)
• Utilize CPAP/BiPAP and high-flow nasal cannula equipment as appropriate
• Complete rehab-specific documentation and learn QRP requirements
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
