Summary of

Job Duties:

The Supply Technician Lead actively participates in the Central Supply work flow and leads/instructs staff in the daily completion of supply restocking duties. The Supply Technician Lead provides relief supervision in the absence of the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School/GED or formal educational equivalent and six months experience in supply distribution preferably in a healthcare environment plus 2 years previous experience in stocking supplies and/or supervisory experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership ability.
• Requires ability to learn through on the job training during the probationary period.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in use of automated supply cabinets during probationary period.

Additional Information:

• Actively participates in recording inventory, filling and stocking/restocking of supply par areas.
• Practices stock rotation, removal of outdated supplies and cycle counting of supplies to ensure accuracy of counts.
• Receives and stocks supplies in Central Supply as assigned and/or as needed.
• Displays proficiency when using the Pyxis computerized restocking process.
• Completes par level assignments in time allocated.
