Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts with start times available: 1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 2nd shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, or 3rd shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per month

• Possible holiday coverage required

• No call or standby requirements

• Operate GE MRI scanners 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W)

• Work with outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients

• Start IVs as required for procedures

• Follow MRI safety guidelines and perform standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning

• Work with Epic electronic medical record system

• Collaborate with MRI Tech assistant (1 per 8-hour shift)

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RTR MR

• Active Illinois license required

• Must pass drug screen for all panels

• Dress code:
Standard solid colored scrubs (not provided), tattoos must be covered

• Department-specific orientation: 1 week depending on familiarity with GE scanner type

• 12 non-billable orientation hours

The radiology department features advanced GE MRI technology and maintains high standards for patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. The facility utilizes Epic electronic medical records and employs registered radiology assistants to support efficient department operations.
