Expected pay for this position is $20.21 - $23.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
OverviewThis job is located in Peoria, IL
5-8 hour shifts (8a-430p) Monday-Friday
POSITION SUMMARYPerforms duties of the Trauma Registrar by identifying, abstracting, reviewing information and completing records related to patients diagnosed with or treated for traumatic injury at Medical Center. Assists in managing the Trauma Registry function at the Medical Center. Ensures Trauma Registry meets and maintains requirements for certification. Prepares data for research projects and submits same to various agencies and medical associations.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School/GED Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records and medical terminology. AIS Injury Coding Certifcation Knowledge of ICD-10 Coding ATS Trauma Registry Course
