Expected pay for this position is $59.90 - $70.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
This is a Salaried position.
This position will support pharmacy services for OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications, analyzes drug therapy and regularly consults with medical staff, nursing personnel and others in order to coordinate delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services to OSF Health Care patients. In addition, the clinical staff pharmacist is responsible for compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies according to established procedures and professional pharmacy practice.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
- Required Qualifications: Licenses/Certifications: PHRM-Pharmacist
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) Pharmacy Practice PGY1 - Experience:
2 years of hospital pharmacy experience serving a variety of patient types - Licensure/
Certifications:
Board Certification through Board of Pharmacy Specialties - Other requirements/information:
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and various other OSF Health Care personnel when explaining medication use and gathering and exchanging other medication information. Analytical skills necessary in order to determine drug appropriateness and evaluate drug interactions. Demonstrated skills in independent problem solving, decision‑making abilities, and prioritization/delegation. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner. Competency in the use of an electronic medical record system.
