Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.
$2.75 Night Shift Differential
$10,000 Sign On Bonus
OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1.
The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high‑quality images for radiologist interpretation. The technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. The technologist complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
Qualifications- Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program
- Must be ARRT eligible
- Board certification: BLS American Heart Association
- ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
- 2 years radiography experience (preferred)
- 1 year MRI experience (preferred)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered (preferred)
