The Clinical Care Attendant assists Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants with front and back office duties in outpatient patient management. This role is essential to the clinic team, working under Provider supervision and collaborating with clinical staff and patients. Responsibilities include clerical and clinical tasks such as performing diagnostic imaging, demonstrating good judgment, discretion, diplomacy, and providing excellent customer service.
The Clinical Care Attendant acts as a patient advocate, maintaining contact with Providers, patients, families, community agencies, and staff.

Responsibilities- Assist with clinical procedures under supervision of Provider.
- Greet and escort patients, complete registration, and assist with check-out and surveys.
- Perform diagnostic imaging and assist in delivering primary healthcare services.
- Take patient history, vital signs, and document in charts.
- Provide patient comfort items and follow symptom protocols.
- Perform labs and offer retail medications as directed.
- Review visit summaries and provide instructions.
- Follow-up calls to patients post-visit.
- Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and keep logs.
- Ensure radiation safety and quality control of imaging equipment.
- Adhere to policies, attend meetings, and maintain compliance with safety and privacy regulations.
- Monitor environment, behave ethically, and strive to improve service quality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IEMA), with registration (ARRT) within 1 year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
- Associate's Degree in a related field and Radiologic Technology certification.
