Chief Financial Officer

We are a community bank seeking an experienced and forward thinking Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team. This is a key executive role with the opportunity to help shape the financial strategy and long term growth of the bank.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with regular in office presence in Will County, Illinois, and occasional travel as needed.

• Lead all financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and asset liability management
• Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all banking regulations
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning and decision making
• Manage financial risk, capital planning, and liquidity strategies
• Present financial reports and insights to the Board of Directors
• Oversee audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors and regulators
• Develop and mentor accounting and finance staff
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and internal controls

• Five or more years of banking experience as a Controller or Chief Financial Officer
• Strong knowledge of community bank accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial management
• CPA preferred
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team
• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical abilities
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
