Compliance Specialist, Finance & Banking

This role sits within the First Line of Defense and focuses on strengthening processes, risk management practices, and documentation standards across the organization.

W2 CANDIDATES ONLY

• Facilitate working sessions with business partners to gather information and build accurate process flows.
• Document processes, risks, and controls in a clear, structured format (Visio).
• Support first‑line teams by improving clarity, consistency, and completeness of risk documentation.
• Complete testing of processes and controls and assess compliance with procedures and controls related to enterprise, compliance and operational risk policies and standards.
• Report monthly testing results, trends, remediation, and root cause reviewed to management including opportunities identified within the processes for policies, procedures, and control enhancements.

• Strong background in risk and compliance, ideally within the payments or financial services space.
• Experience with process documentation (creating documentation from scratch, not just maintaining existing procedures).
• Ability to assess and support controls, risks, and operational processes end‑to‑end.
