Vice President of FP&A

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Track performance vs. plan; analyze variances and recommend actions.
• Provide clear financial insights for executives and Board discussions.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and alignment with business drivers.

• Oversee monthly/quarterly reporting and KPI dashboards.
• Analyze revenue, margin, and cost trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support branch and operations leaders with actionable performance insights.
• Prepare Board and private equity materials.

• Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
• Monitor capex and evaluate investment returns.
• Identify risks affecting cash flow, pricing, and profitability.

• Enhance reporting tools, data accuracy, and system efficiency.
• Partner with IT and accounting to standardize reporting and strengthen consolidation.
• Improve BI tools and financial processes to support scalability.

• Develop FP&A and accounting talent; promote a high-performance culture.
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.
• Ensure strong internal controls and support investor communications.

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance/FP&A experience.
• Proven ability to improve EBITDA, profitability, and cash flow in multi-site environments.
• Advanced modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools.

• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Private equity experience.
• Background in manufacturing, metals, or distribution.
• Experience leading teams in growth environments.
