** Senior Portfolio Product Consultant,
** where you’ll be at the forefront of innovation in Medium Wheel  this exciting role, you’ll become the Medium Wheel Loader lead for Caterpillar Customer Solutions Core Division, driving the New Product Introduction (NPI) functional requirements to the Global Product Group (Earthmoving Division) ensuring we meet our customers’ needs in North America, Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

You’ll work closely with customers globally, regional Sales teams, and the Earthmoving Division’s New Product Introduction Manager and Vice President Product Management, gathering insights, shaping functional specifications, and defining critical requirements for Caterpillar Medium Wheel Loader products.

* What You Will Do:

*** Deeply understand customers to clearly define customer problems & package tailored lifecycle solutions to solve them. Develop recommendations into Product Group MGPP & strategy development.
* Develop and own go-to-market strategy and scalable messaging strategy.
* Develop and present Caterpillar Customer Solutions input at all Product Group NPI Gateway reviews.
* Provide unmet customer needs and functional requirements to Product Group.
* Act as a key subject matter expert across North America, Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.
* Travel up to 50% required.
** What You Have (Core Skills):**
* ** Technical Excellence:
** Deep expertise in Medium Wheel Loaders or similar heavy equipment, developing global customer requirements and specifications for New Product Introduction, with a track record in competitive performance studies, value analysis, and cost analysis, translating customer pain points into actionable recommendations. Must clearly demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate technical machine performance and application knowledge that allows you to be regarded as an "expert" in product application and specifically for Medium Wheel Loaders.
* ** Products & Services:
** Ability to bridge customer needs and product vision, identifying portfolio gaps and analyzing trends and demand, performing complex analyses for strategic planning, and communicating customer insights for strategic decision.
* ** Effective Communications:
** Exceptional communication skills to convey insights to global teams and executives, preparing and presenting detailed reports for New Product Introduction approvals, developing global training programs, and mentoring less experienced personnel.
* ** Customer Focus:
** Exceptional customer-back focus in order to develop true customer insights and demonstrate a sense of urgency in their customer back requirements work.
** Top Candidates Will Also Have:
*** Degree in business or engineering.
* Field Rep experience and global work experience.
* Strong ability to navigate and communicate across matrix organization to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment.
* Familiarity with heavy machinery or other similar industries, providing valuable context for immediate contribution.### ###
