Facilities Engineer

* Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities using CMMS tools.
* Troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including robotics, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and heat treat equipment.
* Collaborate with operations to align maintenance priorities with production goals and minimize downtime.
* Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
* Oversee vendor relationships, spare parts inventory, and support capital projects.
* Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
* Effective Communications:
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
* Engineering - Manufacturing:
Knowledge of processes, techniques and methods of engineering in a manufacturing environment; ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention.
* Plant Facilities Management:
Knowledge of processes, methodologies and techniques used to manage plant facilities; ability to handle the full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure.
* Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
* Project Management:
Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
* Technical Troubleshooting:
Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.
* 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with exposure to robotics and PLC systems.
* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to coach and develop team members.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
* Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

- The location for this position is East Peoria, IL (Building KK) and requires the employee to work an
** Alternative Work Schedule (AWS) 2-2-3 (12 hour shifts).*

** Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; then reverse the following week*
