p> b>Location:Peoria, IL (United States) – Required travel up to 10% /b> p> b>Job Type: Full‑time – Onsite five days a week. /b> p> b>What You Will Do: /b> ul> li>Produce disassembly and assembly information that improves safety, efficiency, and profitability of dealer service operations. /li> li>Use the Caterpillar Authoring (ACM) system to develop and electronically author various service information types for global dealers and customers.
/li> li>Perform and document the disassembly and assembly of Caterpillar equipment. /li> li>Adhere to all safety and contamination‑control processes in the Caterpillar Mechanical Lab. /li> li>Conduct detailed research of engineering information and product service requirements. /li> li>Collaborate with Product Design/Support Engineers and other corporate resources. /li> li>Contribute to product groups to ensure accurate service information for each NPI program. /li> li>Photograph equipment or create graphics using 3‑D models for service information.
/li> /ul> p> b>Basic Requirements: /b> ul> li>Associate’s degree OR at least 5 years of experience servicing/repairing heavy equipment (acceptable in lieu of a degree). /li> li>Demonstrated customer focus and ability to deliver customized solutions. /li> li>Strong service‑excellence knowledge and effective communication skills. /li> li>Proven problem‑solving ability and relationship‑management skills. /li> li>Experience with service information development and authoring tools. /li> /ul> p> b>Top‑Candidate Advantages: /b> ul> li>3+ years servicing heavy equipment, preferably Caterpillar.
/li> li>Experience with SIS
