We’re looking for a proactive Safety & Health Specialist to join our team and drive a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across our operations. This role is perfect for a safety professional who thrives on building programs, influencing teams, and making a direct impact on both people and performance.
What You’ll Do- Partner with leadership and employees to develop, implement, and improve safety programs that align with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct workplace risk analyses to identify and address potential hazards before they become incidents.
- Lead safety training initiatives—designing content, delivering sessions, and coaching teams to stay compliant and engaged.
- Play a key role in incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned translate into stronger systems and safer practices.
- Support and help design loss control systems that reduce risks, improve compliance, and strengthen operational performance.
- Serve as a trusted resource to operations, maintenance, and leadership teams, communicating safety goals and progress clearly and effectively.
- Experience:
3–5 years as a safety professional (manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment preferred). - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health, or a related field (will consider 5+ years of equivalent experience in place of a degree). - Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigations.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence teams at all levels.
