Join us in the important work of forming disciples of Jesus Christ through community, faith, knowledge, and service. Peoria Notre Dame High School is seeking a theology teacher for the 2026-27school year and beyond to serve our motivated and passionate students, teach them in a Catholic environment of academic inquiry, and instill in them a passion for our faith.
At PND, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside faculty and staff members committed to bettering themselves as teachers and Christians. We know we can't share what we don't have, and therefore we offer ample opportunities for our faculty and staff to strengthen their spiritual lives through daily Mass, daily adoration and confession, biweekly faith formation meetings, an annual faculty retreat, and All School Mass.
In addition to spiritual development, we offer engaging and collaborative professional learning: monthly professional development sessions, monthly new teacher meetings, and biyearly faculty institutes.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree and at least 18 hours of college credit in Catholic theology courses
- Willingness to share love of Christ with others
- Ability to innovate and differentiate in the classroom, teach students to think critically, and appreciate and support diverse learners
- Teaching five courses per semester and one course per winterim
- Supervising one advisory class each day
- Chaperoning one school dance each year
- Attending faith formation, All School Masses, faculty retreats, faculty institutes, and in-house professional development sessions
- Salary Range: $35,000-$65,000
