Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful, enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Teaching Assistant to support our Preschool Summer Camp program. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a faith-filled, engaging, and nurturing environment where young children can learn, explore, play, and grow. Applicants must be supportive of the mission and vision of Corpus Christi Catholic School and comfortable working with children ages 3-5 years old.

The ideal candidate has experience working with preschool-age children, is patient, energetic, and creative, and enjoys working in a faith-based educational setting. What You Will Do:

• Supports and upholds the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by creating a Christ-centered learning environment
• Assists the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activites that promote creativity, social-emotional growth, and faith formation
• Helps manage the classroom by guiding behavior positively, ensuring a structured yet engaging atmosphere
• Encourages hands-on learning through play-based activities, music, movement, outdoor and water activities, movement, and arts and crafts
• Supervises children to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
• Assists in preparing and organizing classroom materials, setting up activities, and cleaning up after activities
• Supports children in daily routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, and transitions between indoor and outdoor activities
• Fosters positive communication with parents and keeps them informed about their child's everyday experience in the program
• Works collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a smooth, fun, and enriching summer program experience

• Morning and/or Afternoon Preschool Summer Camp Teaching Assistant
• Hours:
  
  Monday-Friday 7:30-12:00 pm for morning; 12:00-4:30 pm for afternoon
• Duration:
  May 27th-August 14th, with the week of July 4th off

What You Need:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Associates Degree or have successfully completed two years of study at a regionally accredited college or university

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom, daycare, or camp setting

• Salary per hour: $15.75
• Paid Time Off:
  One hour for every 40 hours worked
