Practice Summary
Specialists in Medical Imaging (SMI) serves three hospitals and additional outpatient imaging sites in Peoria and Pekin, Illinois. Single worklist allows for efficient reading across the practice. Broad range of subspecialty expertise present in the practice allows for easy consultation with peers for second opinions. Collaborative atmosphere is fostered.
Position Duties and Responsibilities- Competitive salary with Bonus
- 1-year partnership track position
- Work Schedule:
Day, Monday – Friday, hours typically between 7:30am-5pm - Evening/Night coverage provided by separate dedicated night shift team
- Equitable sharing of backup 1:6 weekend and evening/night call responsibilities
- Internal moonlighting opportunities available if desired
- Fellows and residents welcome to apply
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in Diagnostic Radiology
- Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Musculoskeletal Fellowship trained PREFERRED, but not required
- Comfortable with all MSK and general diagnostic studies (MSK 40-50%)
- Grow practice with joint injections, MSK Ultrasound and other procedures
- Body MRI and Neuroimaging a plus
- Ability to secure an Illinois license

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$575,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
