Overview

As an Emergency Physician, you'll examine, diagnose, and treat Soldiers and their families in critical times of need. You'll lead medical units, perform potentially life-saving medical care, and start your medical career as an Officer in the distinguished U.S. Army healthcare community. You'll also research the latest advancements in medicine and receive advanced training opportunities.

• Loan Repayment: Receive $120,000 in student loan repayment in $40,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP).
• Sign-on Bonus: $400,000 signing (accession) bonus plus $49,000 incentive pay and Board Certification Pay $8,000 paid annually.
• Location: Over 40 locations stateside and several more overseas, including Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Germany, and Korea.
