Overview

The Uftring Auto Group is hiring for our award-winning service team!

We have a thorough but FAST hiring process!

The Ford Service Advisor is the link between the customer and the service department, insuring that the customer’s needs are met and that the work is done correctly. They will communicate with customers, schedule appointments, follow up with customers, and document services.

Pay is based on experience and begins at $62,400 per year plus commission.

• Communicating with customers - explaining repairs, answering questions, and providing estimates.
• Scheduling appointments - working with customers to prioritize repairs and schedule service times.
• Documenting services – recording all services that were approved or declined.
• Processing payments – handling orders, invoices, and payments.
• Following up with customers – keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicles.
• Responsible for quality control - ensuring that the work is completed as requested.

• Positive and outgoing person with excellent listening skills.
• Sales experience is preferred. Customer service experience is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication and listening skills and be organized and accurate.
• Knowledge of automotive operations and knowledge of appropriate telephone techniques.
• Neat, professional appearance.
• Must possess a valid IL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Every 5th Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

• The compensation for a Service Advisor begins at $62,400 per year plus commission.
