Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our Project Managers and/or Superintendents in coordinating all project activities. Based in Champaign, IL, this role is crucial for ensuring that cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met across our construction projects.

The APM will work under the direction of the Project Manager, taking on various tasks to gain comprehensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of construction management.

• Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project.
• Field Coordination: Provide essential support to Field Staff.
• Process Adherence: Follow the company's established best practices.
• Value and Opportunity Identification:
  • Identify and act on ways to add value to the project.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to expand client relationships.
• Client Management:
  • Balance client and company needs effectively.
  • Be responsive to clients' needs and display intensity in service.
  • Work cooperatively with others toward the accomplishment of a shared goal.
  • Offer to coach/assist others with less experience.
  • When problems arise, share expertise to help resolve the issue.
  • Continually build personal knowledge and expertise.
  • Be open to new ways of doing things.
