LSSI is hiring a full-time Intact Sr. Child Welfare Supervisor, Monday through Friday. Responsible for the supervision of a unit of direct service staff who provide foster care, adoption, intact family, and/or counseling services. May supervise a team of Child Welfare Supervisors as well as provide assistance to a Program Director.

- Supervise staff, which may include Child Welfare Supervisors, who provide an array of services to achieve permanency for children per the service plan and policies of the agency, accrediting, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist the Program Director in the management of the site and programs.
- Complete and submit all reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time as required by the agency and funding sources.
- Promote working relationships with community organizations, churches, funding bodies, and other providers.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
- Master’s degree in social work or a related field required.
- Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS required.
- State licensing/certification as required by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to display positive organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing for the state of residency is required.
- Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings and to transport clients as needed.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
