Connor Co. is looking for a detail-driven, relationship-focused Commercial Plumbing Quotes Specialist to join our growing corporate team in Peoria. If you have a background in plumbing, enjoy developing competitive bids, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—this could be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building accurate, competitive commercial plumbing quotes that support our branches and customers. You’ll collaborate closely with vendors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure Connor Co. is well-positioned on every bid.

• Preparing and managing commercial plumbing quotes using the Eclipse system
• Ensuring all accessible Connor Co. products are quoted per project specs and approved alternatives
• Researching territories, competitors, and project opportunities to create competitive pricing
• Negotiating, utilizing, and tracking vendor special pricing programs
• Monitoring customer and industry websites for upcoming bid opportunities
• Distributing bids to the appropriate branches
• Working proactively with vendors and engineers to get Connor Co. products specified
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and branch personnel
• Participating in vendor meetings, product training, and industry trade shows as needed
• Staying informed on product innovations, pricing trends, and competitor activity
• Supporting additional projects and duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive, professional, and patient attitude
• Willingness to travel as needed

• 2+ years of experience
• 2–5 years of commercial quoting experience
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize the Eclipse software
• Experience working with vendors, engineers, or commercial construction bids

• Self-motivated and proactive
• Critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working with all levels of management and customers
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
• Corporate office setting
• Standard office equipment is used
• Travel required as needed
