This role puts you on the front line of solving a wide range of electronic and mechanical challenges. You’ll be the first to investigate issues, apply your troubleshooting skills, and take the lead in identifying potential solutions. With the support of experienced experts when needed, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing problems, driving resolutions, and helping keep critical systems operating at peak performance.
JOBRESPONSIBILITIES
- Review daily test schedules and test plans to prepare for upcoming EMC testing activities.
- Collaborate with team members and internal test clients to set up equipment, configure the test environment, and execute EMC tests.
- Partner with Senior EMC Engineers and Technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test setups or Devices Under Test (DUT).
- Work alongside Senior EMC Engineers and design engineers to review applicable standards and evaluate test results to determine pass/fail outcomes.
- Maintain accurate test documentation, including capturing test images, updating logs, and completing required reports before the end of each workday.
- HS Diploma or GED AND 0-2 years’ of relevant experience
- Two-year Electronics Degree is preferred
- General technical understanding
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on a variety of systems
- Operation of EMC test equipment and laboratory automation software
- Understanding EMC related physics and engineering
- General computer use, MS office, etc.
- Understanding basic electronics concepts such capacitance
- Soldering, crimping, reading a circuit diagram
- Understanding of radio frequency physics
- Programming of laboratory automation software
- Understanding relevant EMC standards
- Attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of projects and push them forward
- Ability to work with a diverse team

- Ability to explain a complex topic to an audience unfamiliar with the topic
