• Perform vehicle repair or maintenance as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs if authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi‑point inspections and make safety and reliability recommendations.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of normal technician tools not inventoried by the Service department.
• Stay abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience as a dealership automotive technician (general service, inspection, brakes, suspension, alignment, fluid exchange)
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
• Attention to detail
• Organization and follow‑up skills
• Valid in‑state driver’s license and a safe driving record
