Expected pay for this position is $29.01 - $34.13/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator Research Administration is a highly skilled, proactive administrative professional responsible for directly supporting the Research Administration leadership team and departmental mission partners. This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating efficient operations, managing executive-level schedules and communications, coordinating meetings and projects, and providing administrative and operational support for research and healthcare initiatives throughout the ministry. Will assist with the coordination of specific project tasks within project workplans, develop content (e.g. documents, presentations, etc.)
and track/report appropriate metrics. Will lead event planning and admin support for monthly, quarterly, and annual research administration activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, sales, or healthcare related field.
Experience:
- 3 years of progressively responsible administrative or coordinator-level experience including project or event planning.
- 1 year experience with presenting information or providing instruction to groups.
- Experience in preparing accurate budgets and effectively managing expenses.
- Experience developing processes and process mapping.
- Proficiency with Research Administration software, databases, and OSF reporting tools (within 90 days of hire if not proficient at hire)
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, planning, and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities, public speaking. Team building and relationship management skills.
- Moderate degree of creativity, self-initiative, and discretion.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects with little supervision, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment with numerous deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to be detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and coordinate the efforts of other team members in support of hosted events, meetings, and council/committee meetings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master’s degree in business, communications, marketing, sales, or healthcare related field
Experience:
- 3 years of progressively responsible administrative or coordinator-level experience in healthcare setting.
- Experience supporting healthcare and/or clinical research leaders and familiarity with healthcare regulatory and operational terminology
- Knowledge of research administration, institutional review board (IRB) processes, quality assurance programs, or compliance monitoring workflows
- Business writing and reporting skills, with experience drafting business cases, briefing documents, or executive summaries Excellent presentation skills
- Developing educational material and/or converting educational material to an online platform Proficient with
- Research Administration software, databases, and OSF reporting tools
