• Provides safe and efficient vehicle operations for the purpose of transporting passengers. Assists passengers, including seniors and disabled, in boarding and exiting the vehicle as necessary. Secures mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.) in the vehicle.
• Provides general information to the public regarding Dial-A-Ride services. Logs all stops on daily route manifest, completes incident and accident reports, daily vehicle inspection reports, and reports vehicle malfunctions. Completes company forms, maintains accurate trip data, and uses vehicle equipment such as onboard radio and computer system.
• Completes daily Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections, interior cleaning, and vehicle refueling.
• Collects and records pre-established transit fares.
