Position: Nurse Practitioner
Job Type: Pool / Non-Exempt
Shift Details: Available Shift Hours 6, 10 & 12 Hour Shifts - As Needed
Work Location: Crisis - Peoria Recovery Response Center - Peoria, AZ
Salary/Hourly Wage: $85.00 - $90.00/hour
Specialties / Licenses Or Certifications- Valid and Current State-Specific NP License
- PMHNP certification
- DEA certification
The Nurse Practitioner position is responsible for coordinating and providing medical/clinical services including engagement, assessment, differential diagnosis, recovery service planning, medication management, education, and risk assessment and discharge planning. The Nurse Practitioner position also uses Recovery Coaching to maximize the opportunity to create recovery partnerships and a recovery environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy:
Provides appropriate treatment and referral according to individual’s needs. - Prescribes and administers medication.
- Supervises special diet requirements.
- Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
- Compliance &
Risk Management:
Supervises or provides nursing and medical care in compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards. - Ensures completion of designated reviews for all new individuals brought to the facility, making appropriate dispositions in accordance with policy.
- Initiates and/or ensures appropriate response to all medical emergencies.
- Communicates complaints and incidents to supervisory personnel.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Cross Functional
Collaboration:
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care. - Additional Duties:

- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited School of Nursing with appropriate training as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification in Psychiatric care (PMHNP).
- Valid DEA registration.
