The Head of Growth & Advisor Development will be responsible for driving organic growth, improving advisor productivity, and building scalable growth systems across the firm. This role reports directly to the CEO and partners closely with leadership, advisors, and marketing to ensure consistent execution and long-term results. This is a senior leadership role with real influence, intended for someone who has already led at a high level and wants to help shape how a firm grows.
Who You Are:
- Senior leader with 10+ years of experience coaching advisors and leading growth within a broker-dealer, RIA, or wealth management firm (former advisor background strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of building and scaling growth systems
- Comfortable holding advisors accountable and driving performance
- Strategic thinker who also enjoys execution
- Strong communicator who can influence across leadership, advisors, and partners
- Builder mindset with the patience and discipline to create durable systems
Key
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a structured advisor growth cadence across the firm
- Increase advisor productivity and consistency in activity, follow-up, and conversion
- Drive firm-wide pipeline discipline and accountability
- Lead a weekly execution and accountability rhythm focused on advisor commitments and outcomes
- Partner closely with Marketing to align campaigns, lead strategy, and advisor execution, with the opportunity to further integrate growth and marketing functions over time
- Develop and maintain growth dashboards and KPIs; proactively identify gaps and recommend adjustments
- Coach advisors through 1:1s, performance reviews, and corrective action when needed
- Support recruiting efforts and help build a long-term advisor pipeline
- Assist with sourcing and advancing potential succession and acquisition opportunities, partnering with the CEO to close transactions and supporting execution post-close
- Support onboarding and integration of new advisors
- Maintain a regular communication cadence with the CEO and leadership team
What This Looks Like in Practice:
- Running weekly growth and execution meetings
- Coaching advisors on pipeline health, conversion, and follow-through
- Reviewing growth metrics and forecasts to spot issues early
- Partnering with Marketing on upcoming campaigns and advisor execution plans
- Spending time building relationships with prospective advisors and future partners
- Meeting regularly with the CEO to align on priorities, risks, and opportunities
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive executive-level compensation, including base salary and performance-based incentives. Expected base range of $175,000–$275,000, with total compensation dependent on experience, scope, and impact. Comprehensive benefits package included.
Work Style:
This role requires a high level of in-person leadership and presence, based primarily in the Peoria, AZ office, with periodic travel to other firm locations.
