** Maintenance Technician
** to support the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and safety of the Peoria Advanced campus. This role is responsible for maintaining school facilities, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring a safe and functional environment for students, staff, and families.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining high professional standards.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Facilities Maintenance & Repairs
*** Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, painting, landscaping, and minor construction.
* Maintain school facilities including classrooms, restrooms, cafeteria spaces, and outdoor areas.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs.
* Assist with larger campus improvement projects as needed.
** Safety & Compliance
*** Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety and chemical handling regulations.
* Support campus security by ensuring proper care and storage of tools, equipment, and facilities.
* Identify potential safety concerns and recommend solutions to campus leadership.
** Inventory & Equipment Management
*** Maintain inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies.
* Track and document maintenance activities and repairs.
* Provide recommendations to administration regarding equipment repair or replacement.
* Collaborate with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
** Qualifications & Requirements
**** Required Qualifications
*** Minimum of
** 3 years
** of maintenance, facilities, or related experience.
* Ability to perform a variety of hands-on repair and maintenance tasks.
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate professionally with staff and leadership.
* Ability to pass required background checks and obtain an
** IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card**.
