The City of Peoria’s Streets Division is looking for hardworking individuals to fill the Transportation Technician I position in the Signs and Striping Unit. The successful candidate will join a team that places over 800 miles of long‑line striping a year, and maintains over 24,000 traffic signs. Experience with traffic maintenance to include striping, traffic sign fabrication, or sign installation is a plus.

This labor‑intensive position will need someone who enjoys working outdoors, and can meet the physical demands listed in our job description.

• Passion for working outdoors in the elements.
• Working knowledge of basic and advanced construction practices.
• Great attitude and the ability to work within a team structure, and perform solo tasks as required.
• Valid Arizona Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement.
