Valley Arthritis Care is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our established rheumatology practice. We have proudly served patients across Arizona since 1999 and are known for clinical excellence, long-tenured staff, and a supportive team environment.

This role is ideal for a billing professional who thrives on accuracy, understands the full revenue cycle, and takes ownership of their work.

• Accurately submit and manage medical claims for physician visits, procedures, and infusion services
• Review, research, and resolve claim denials and underpayments
• Post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and corrections
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits as needed
• Follow up with payers to ensure timely reimbursement
• Maintain compliance with payer rules, coding guidelines, and internal policies
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

• 2+ years of medical billing experience required
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs, and denial management
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately
• Experience with specialty billing (rheumatology or infusion billing strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and medical billing software
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
