Child Developmental Behavior Specialist at Soar Autism Center
Join our dedicated team focused on enriching the lives of children on the autism spectrum. Leveraging the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play‑based approach within the framework of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), we empower children to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to rigorous professional standards.
- Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA principles.
- Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advances in ABA therapy and maintain certification.
- Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (paid training provided).
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Reliable transportation to both training location and the local center; punctuality essential.
- Ability to meet physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit or kneel on the floor for extended periods, walk or occasionally run short distances.
- Competitive compensation $21.50‑$28.50 per hour, with regular bonuses and promotion opportunities; all staff considered for raise or promotion every 3 months.
